Attendance Clerk/Office Assistant

 

USD 320 Wamego is accepting applications for an Attendance Clerk/Office Assistant at Wamego High School, to fill an immediate vacancy.  Duties will include tracking students' daily attendance, completing weekly attendance reports, completing state reports related to attendance, answering the phone, and greeting visitors.  Applicants must have quality computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft office programs, specifically word and excel. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and phone skills are essential.  Applicants must be able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment, be flexible and have a positive, willing-to-learn attitude.  Office/clerical experience in an educational setting is preferred.

 

Scheduled hours will approximately be 7:30am - 3:30pm.  While exact work dates vary annually based on the school calendar, this position will work approximately August 11 - May 31.  We are looking to fill this position, ASAP.

 

 

Pay begins at $12.46 per hour, or commensurate with experience/skills.  This position offers a full benefit package, including health, dental, vision and other supplemental insurances and KPERS retirement.
