Wamego Unified School District 320 Wamego is currently accepting applications for the position of Business Manager & Clerk of the Board of Education.
This position will support the Superintendent and Board of Education through handling day-to-day accounting, accounts receivable, grant account reconciliations, and general administrative duties. The skills necessary to be successful in the position are:
- Knowledge of general business practices.
- Knowledge of Skyward or other accounting software.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to assist in the preparation of the yearly budget.
- Ability to interact and communicate cooperatively and constructively.
- Ability to work independently to identify, prioritize and accomplish tasks in a timely manner.
- Ability to perform work that requires a high level of confidentiality, discretion, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to use Windows based computer hardware and standard office equipment.
Desired qualifications:
- Some college or vocational education preferred; high school diploma acceptable.
- Five years work-related experience.
